MATTHIS IS SPECIALIZED IN AUDIOVISUAL AND ENTERTAINMENT LAW, COPYRIGHT LAW, AND NEW TECHNOLOGY LAW.

Matthis advises the firm’s clients at all stages of their audiovisual projects. His bicultural legal education facilitates his ability to navigate the unique challenges presented by cases involving both French and Anglo-Saxon parties.Before joining Crossen + Borowsky, Matthis was a legal counsel for a major independent French audiovisual production company. He was trained as an intern at several renowned law firms specializing in media and entertainment law.

Matthis was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2024 and has also been a member of the New York Bar since 2022. He holds a Master 2 in French Law – Common Law (Media and New Technologies Section) from the University of Paris X Nanterre, an LLM from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), as well as a degree in Sports Law from the University of Paris VIII Créteil.
